So What Did You Miss?

Look who's back!!

So what did you miss during my almost 3 month hiatus?

UPCAT Letter Results

Looks like my post announcing my failure of the notorious UPCAT Exam was a false alarm since according to my letter I managed to pass UP, although I didn't pass UP Diliman, the main campus, where my course, Architecture, is available and one of the centers of excellence of the said campus but I did managed to pass UP Manila, wherein they specialized and only offer medical courses.

So in conclusion; I am not going to be an Isko :D

I would have posted a picture of the letter but I didn't manage to take a photo of my letter since it was with my father.

Failing DLSUCAT

I have failed my DLSUCAT but it wasn't really a surprise to me since I didn't took the test seriously.

Reasons why I didn't took La Salle seriously:

1. They're trimestral and per semestral, the tuition fee's are around P60,000+. So basically in one school year, you need to pay P180,000+. That's not even including the other miscellaneous fees and I don't think my parents can afford that.
2. They don't cater to my dream course (Architecture), though they have St. Benilde, which is even more expensive, for that but I just don't like going to a school who's a newbie in the field of Architecture, I feel more assured in going to a more established school in order to ensure the quality of the education that I am having.
3. I don't like the environment, it's too urban. I would like some trees and garden so that I can relax and have peace of mind and escape the urban world even for a short time.

I didn't even know why I applied for La Salle, it's probably because my aunt is a product of La Salle and I want a La Salle USB and bag. LOL.

I Passed UST Drawing Exam!

So I have announced in a previous post that I was wait-listed in UST Architecture, so in order to practice my skills, I have went to a hiatus. On February 23, I have taken my exam and on February 27, I have managed to pass!!

#57 BAYBEH!!

I didn't actually thought that I would pass, since the day of the exam was so hectic. During the morning, I'll wake up extra early for the USTET Drawing Exam and the exam is 4 hours long, then later on I'll have my piano recital, which I absolutely messed up since I was still tired from the exam.

So basically my schedule went like this:

5:00-6:00 am- Getting ready
6:00-6:30 am- Breakfast
6:30-7:30 am- Going to UST
7:00-8:00 am- Waiting time
8:00-12:00 nn- Exams
12:00- 2:00 pm- Going Home, Lunch and Getting ready for Recital
2:00- 4:00 pm- Recital

WHOOO! Talk about celebrity schedules!

Also, they made us draw something unexpected, in the internet, it says that the usual drawings for the exam were either your dream house, main building of your school or churches but they made us freaking draw Rizal's monument! I don't even know what that looked like! The last time I went to Luneta Park was when I was just a kid!!

So I just drew my drawing based on my memories as a child and basic perspective, shading and shapes, but thank God that I passed!

I was actually expecting fail so I've already prepared my UP Talent Determination Test papers to try out for UP-Diliman Fine Arts then shift to UP-Diliman Architecture the following year or if I failed that as well I'm going for UP-Manila take up BS Biology or something medical related then if I achieved the quota, I'll shift to UP-Diliman Architecture and if all else fails I'm going to MAPUA Institute of Technology :D

But it looks like I'm going to throw that plan out the window~

After receiving the results I immediately went to Tan Yan Kee Admission's Office in order to pay the reservation fee of P5,000.00. A bit expensive for just a reservation fee but that's just a small prize to pay for quality education!

I also bought a jacket and a pocket rosary in order to celebrate!

Some of my friends passed as well just this March 8, my bestfriend, Irah was so happy since it was her birthday and she passed UST so she also bought a jacket almost identical to mine only of different colours.

Also, my other friend, Ina Orozco, also passed!!

I even painted my nails black and gold to celebrate!

I used the OMG's Gold Digger and Black Out

Letran College and Angelicum College

Since I was wait-listed in UST first time around they have recommended me to Letran College or Angelicum College so now I am eligible to enroll in both schools but whatever, I've already passed in my dream school ;P

Thank you so much everyone for staying with me even if I went on an indefinite hiatus but I promise that I would update this blog regularly starting next week since I am still in the middle of exams but by next week I would be more available since all we've got to do next week is pass the requirements in order to graduate.

Thank you and God Bless,
Ciao,

♥ Aly
